Start with the buyer
We consider the task, the vehicle, the budget around the purchase and the practical tradeoffs. Our verdicts explain where a product makes sense, with clear fit guidance and meaningful limitations. We do not use numbered scores, stars or aggregate ratings.
Evidence before claims
Specifications are checked against the exact product and variant. Manufacturer ratings are identified as such. Our recommendations can draw on manufacturer documentation, established testing evidence and editorial analysis; we do not describe a specification as a measurement we performed. Specific first-person testing claims require corresponding records.
Authentic product imagery
Product photographs come from the manufacturer or another documented, authorised source. General automotive photography supplies the editorial atmosphere. We do not generate product photographs and present them as real equipment or testing. Images of vehicle-specific accessories are identified where the pictured application differs from the reader’s vehicle.
Commercial relationships
Partner links can support the publication through commissions on qualifying purchases. An affiliate relationship does not establish product quality, and a discount code is only displayed when its benefit and terms are confirmed. Product coverage can exist before a commercial relationship. Direct manufacturer links are not automatically affiliate links.
Keep facts current
We date meaningful content changes and record when product information was checked. Prices, stock, fit and store promotions can change. We point readers to the exact store to confirm the final purchase. We do not label an offer verified, sitewide or permanent without evidence for that specific claim.
Corrections
We review material product or offer errors and update the affected content. Readers can email [email protected] with the article URL and the detail that needs checking.
